Maintaining your garage door should be done on a seasonal basis. Check to make sure all the springs, rollers and barrings are operated correctly. You can purchase the needed lubricant at a local hardware store. When applying the lubricant where necessary, be liberal with its amount. Wipe the excess lubricant off and test after one full application. When the garage door has been lubricated test the door for it's balance point and follow up the balance point test with safety checks are the door (especially if little children could be around the door).
