A blocked chimney with cracks inside the block is a serious problem that needs to be addressed. Most of the time when your chimney is blocked and/or you have cracking around the chimney, this cracking is of cracked flue tiles which may be leaking because of an appliance.

Appliances that are leaking can also cause wall damage and/or mildew growth. Any problems that can cause discoloration or mold are serious problems that need to be addressed.
