Starting the process of building a cabinet for your bathroom can have some time consumption to it; but once done can have you happy to have accomplished this. Plans to build your bathroom cabinet can be easily found online or even at your hardware stores. First thing to do is to find the design that you want, and then we can focus on the materials. Consult your hardware store once again on the materials. Once you have the materials you can begin your in-home work.

The area that you will be putting the cabinet should be measured, and write down all of the dimensions. Do the same on your cabinet as well. Make sure you have the height, width and length down to its perfect dimensions. Begin a rough sketch of the cabinet and add your dimensions to the sketch. Now a bathroom is a moist environment and will need wood that has extra protection in it. Keep this in mind when choosing your wood. This is the part where you decide on your design materials. Do you want specific knobs? Do you want a certain style of hinges?

Now when choosing your lumber always make sure the wood has few knots in it. That it has no imperfections and is surfaced on four sides. Also have wood stain available and check if it can stand up to the environment of the bathroom. As well as screws, nails and glue and you have all of your supplies.

Start cutting your frame with an appropriate saw to your desired measurement. Lay down every part of your frame on your work space and glue. Fasten the frame with screws or nails. Make sure it is all square before the glue dries. Now fasten the four sides of your frame together using your glue and screws or nails again. Make sure it is square again. Attach the back boards to the cabinet. Then attach the side boards. Now you can stain the cabinet and allow it to dry. Then you can attach the door, hinges and knobs. Next thing you have to do now is just place your cabinet in its new space. Now you have a new cabinet in your bathroom.
