Category: Landscaping - Topic: Yard Landscape Removing Swimming Pool

Taking down an above ground swimming pool can provide many benefits and new challenges for your backyard. Depending on the ground below their are a few good options. Typically below the pool lies a layer of sand and then either rock or grass. If grass exists and their is good drainage in the area laying topsoil and expanding your yard may be the correct decision. If the sand is builders sand, or the grass has been severely compacted don't lay new topsoil. A better bet would be to add an outside storage shed, or lay concrete for sports activities or a deck.
