If you are looking to lay carpet for a high traffic area consider using a nylon based carpet. Nylon based carpet is the best product for high traffic areas. Nylon is extremely durable again natural wear and tear, is cost effective, and comes in many different color selections. If you are looking for a higher grade carpet for your high traffic area consider a wool based carpet. Wool is very durable, however, will not be able to remove stains as easily as a nylon carpet. New wool carpets have recently been introduced to the market, and often carry a stain protectant within the carpet fibers.
