A hole in the driveway can be an eyesoar and also
dangerous to your cars and children. To patch up and fix such a hole will require gloves, safety glasses, hydraulic cement, sand-mix concrete, concrete fortifier and concrete bonding adhesive.
In addition, several tools such as a circular saw with a masonry cutting blade, hand maul, trowel, and a drill with masonry-cutting disc, will be needed.
First you'd use the circular saw with the
masonry cutting blade and cut out the hole area to be patched. Angle the area cut at around 10-20 degrees.
Apply bonding adhesive onto the patch, then
trowel in sand-mix concrete at two inch laters, allowing the concrete to dry between layers.
After the hole has been overfilled a few
inches, use a screen board and a wood float to smooth and level the surface.
Such a job might be easiest if you relied on a local pavement specialist.
