Category: Insulation - Topic: Soffit Vents Underside Eaves
Soffit vents are installed into the underside of your home's eaves and allow cool air to be drawn up into the attic through the soffit at the base of your roof, and expels hot and humid air through the roof vents at the top. Most homes are fitted with some kind of roof vents at the peak of the roofline, but when used in conjunction with a soffit vent they will work more efficiently. First look under the eaves on your roof and see if you have regularly placed vents. If so, you're good to go.
