Removing old baseboards is a task that can be done with some DIY expertise. You can also call a local flooring or handyman professional. If you are looking to do it yourself, make sure you have a pry bar in your tool shed. If not, you can find one at your local hardware store. Start at the corner of your room and insert the pry bar to pull the board up and locate the nails. Once you locate the nails, you'll be easily able to get at the nails and remove the old baseboard.
