Category: Flooring - Topic: Removing Baseboards

If baseboards and the flooring have been installed correctly in your home, the baseboards should be able to be removed and replaced without changing or altering your flooring. When removing baseboards from flooring, it is very important to protect the integrity of the grout as much as possible. Only take away what is needed to remove the base. If damage does occur to the wall when removing the baseboard, you may want to replace your baseboards with one that have a longer width (to cover existing damage).
