If the water level in your pool seems to drop precipitously after filling, you might have a leak, even it it is not visible from the pool deck. Leaks may appear near the pump, filter, light, skimmer, main drain or return fittings. Identify the leak by turning the pump off, then using a leak detection dye squirt around the possible leaks areas. If a leak is present the dye will follow the water flow.
