Category: Windows - Topic: Condensation Keeping Off Your Windows
Condensation on windows is a normal occurrence. Condensation is caused when cool air (from the outside) meets warm air (inside your home). Stopping condensation on your windows will not guarantee that your household will be warmer or that your house will remain mold and mildew free. If you are bothered by condensation, you can purchase plastic insulation that can be placed over your windows in the cooler months and removed when spring arrives. You can also purchase a dehumidifier and run half the day in rooms where moisture is exceeding your comfort standards.
