Category: Appliances - Topic: Smells Coming From The Ice Maker

When getting ice out of your maker and an awful odor is present there is most likely some mold growth in the piping. The piping goes to the ice maker and makes this very difficult to clean. It is possible to disconnect the water line, and let it run in your sink or bucket container for a period of time to flush the line, or empty the ice maker several times to help flush the line out.
