Category: Appliances - Topic: Leak Coming From Dishwasher
Have you ever noticed a leak coming from your dishwasher, possibly underneath the washer with
water spilling out onto the floor? This is a common problem but is easily identified.
Try taking off the panel at the bottom and examine if the leak is stemming from the water supply line.
If you see a leak here, the leak might be persistant
If no leak is noticed, try running the dishwasher and see if the leak starts.
If the leak appears as a result of operating the dishwasher, the problem might be the water discharge line or possibly the bearing on the pump. If the pump bearins are worm, it is best to replace the dishwasher entirely as the cost of replacing the pump is close to the cost of a new pump install.
