Category: Paint-Painting - Topic: Painting Over Your Old Window Frames

Reapainting (painting over) your outside window frames can bring life to your yard and outdoor living area. When repainting these areas it’s important that a surface in which the paint can “grab” is created. To get this done, use a fine sandpaper over the window frames. Using sandpaper will allow the first coat of paint to "stick" on the window frame and you’ll also be happier with the end result.

You’ll will have to prep using a high quality primer. The primer will allow your paint to sit well, last for much longer, and be easier to clean. Remember that whenever you’re painting using painters tape is important. You may think you’re an expert with the brush, but one slip can create ugly blemishes on your windows.
