If you're thinking about replacing the water lines in your home, make sure you have a copy of your states plumbing code. The plumbing and remodeling codes set standard guidelines for remodeling your home. Water lines, however, should probably be repaired or replaced by a plumber. If, however, you really want to go it alone make sure you not only have the correct materials (like the piping itself), but also the correct crimping and fittings.
