Most often when people think if something is wrong with their block heater they get confused as to the best way to make sure it is working up to par. Some people will wonder what to do and even call a repairman right away, and in the end paying a bill that they could have avoided. That is not needed in the least. There are numerous ways to check if a block heater is working, but the most accurate way to do so is with a digital ohm meter. If the ohm meter tells you something may be wrong; then call a repairman.
