Wall thermostats can be tricky to operate, especially if you have set-up the thermostat without a professoinal. Problems can easily occur if you have not set your jumper wire of switch setting correctly. Also, if the heat system must have the furnace running at the same time to energize the heaters the setup may be more difficult. If you thermostat is operating incorrectly check to ensure the heat anticipator setting matches the recommended amp draw. If no amp draw is specified you will need to measure the amp draw then set the anticipator to match. You may want to contact a professional to assist with these matters.
