Category: Air-Conditioning - Topic: How Often Replace Furnace

As a homeowner you should replace your furnace every 15 years. An example would be a forced air furnace over 15 years old. When upgrading the furnace it may also be a good time to look at, if you home doesnt have already, central air conditioning. When purchasing the furnace and/or central air ensure that the furnace has a greater than 90% efficiency rating. This will ensure the furnace will last its full life and give you the oppurunity to save money on gas bills and reduce your overall consumption.
